Trauma-Informed Care in Boca Raton, FL.

Trauma-informed massage isn't a "type" of massage.

Think of it as a lens through which I practice massage therapy. Swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, hot stones — those are techniques and modalities. Trauma-informed care is about how I provide them. It influences how I communicate with you, how I approach touch, how I establish consent and predictability, how I respond to your body's cues, and how I consider your nervous system through the session.

Think of it like hospitality in a restaurant. Hospitality isn't something you order off the menu — it's part of how everything on the menu is served. The same is true here. Every massage I provide can be trauma-informed, but not every massage is focused on trauma. For some clients, that simply means receiving a massage in an environment where choice, communication, safety, and autonomy are prioritized.

For others, the session may intentionally focus more deeply on nervous system regulation, reconnecting with the body, creating safety around touch, and supporting their healing process.

Trauma-informed care isn't another service on my menu. It's the philosophy behind how I practice.

You do not need to identify as having experienced trauma — or disclose any personal history — to benefit from this approach. Every session is grounded in communication, consent, choice, and respect for your comfort.
